contact@my-roost.comTo start a new inspection, open the app and tap "New Inspection" from the home screen. You will be guided through selecting a property (or adding a new one), choosing the inspection type, and then following the room-by-room guided photo capture process. The app will prompt you to photograph key areas and add notes as you go.
Roost Inspect supports multi-party collaboration. From within an active inspection, tap the "Invite" or "Share" option. You can invite tenants, landlords, or property managers by entering their email address. They will receive an invitation to join the inspection. Once they accept, all parties can view and contribute to the same inspection record.
Once an inspection is complete (or at any point during), navigate to the inspection details and tap "Export Report" or "Generate PDF". The app will compile all photos, annotations, and notes into a professional PDF report. You can then share the PDF via email, messaging apps, or save it to your device.
You can request account deletion in two ways:

When you upload a lease document, the text content is sent to OpenAI for parsing and extraction of key terms (such as lease duration, rent amount, and obligations). The parsed results are stored in your account. The original document is stored securely in Firebase Storage. OpenAI processes the text but does not retain it after processing. We do not sell or share your lease data with third parties beyond what is necessary to provide the parsing service.
Your data is protected with multiple layers of security:

Roost Inspect requires an internet connection for most features, including syncing inspection data, uploading photos, generating reports, and parsing lease documents. However, some data may be cached locally on your device for viewing when offline. Any changes made while offline will sync automatically when a connection is restored.
Credits are used to access certain premium features within the app, such as advanced report generation or lease parsing. You can purchase credits through in-app purchases via Google Play or the Apple App Store. Credits are tied to your account and do not expire. Once used, credits are non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Check the app for current credit pricing and packages.
